DisassociateMember - Inspector


Disassociates a member account from an Amazon Inspector delegated administrator.

Request Syntax

POST /members/disassociate HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "accountId": "string" }

URI Request Parameters

The request does not use any URI parameters.

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.


The AWS account ID of the member account to disassociate.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Fixed length of 12.

Pattern: ^\d{12}$

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 200 Content-type: application/json { "accountId": "string" }

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.


The AWS account ID of the successfully disassociated member.

Type: String

The request has failed due to an internal failure of the Amazon Inspector service.
