ValidateSecurityProfileBehaviors

Validates a Device Defender security profile behaviors specification.

Requires permission to access the ValidateSecurityProfileBehaviors action.

Request Syntax

behaviors

Specifies the behaviors that, when violated by a device (thing), cause an alert.

Type: Array of Behavior objects

Array Members: Maximum number of 100 items.

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

valid

True if the behaviors were valid.

Type: Boolean

validationErrors

The list of any errors found in the behaviors.

Type: Array of ValidationError objects

Errors

InternalFailureException

An unexpected error has occurred.

HTTP Status Code: 500

InvalidRequestException

The request is not valid.

HTTP Status Code: 400

ThrottlingException

The rate exceeds the limit.

HTTP Status Code: 400
