AWS IoT Analytics Documentation (API Version 2017-11-27)

PutLoggingOptions

Sets or updates the AWS IoT Analytics logging options.

Note that if you update the value of any loggingOptions field, it takes up to one minute for the change to take effect. Also, if you change the policy attached to the role you specified in the roleArn field (for example, to correct an invalid policy) it takes up to 5 minutes for that change to take effect.

Request Syntax

URI Request Parameters

The request does not use any URI parameters.

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

loggingOptions

The new values of the AWS IoT Analytics logging options.

Type: LoggingOptions object

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 200

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

InternalFailureException

There was an internal failure.

HTTP Status Code: 500

InvalidRequestException

The request was not valid.

HTTP Status Code: 400

ServiceUnavailableException

The service is temporarily unavailable.

HTTP Status Code: 503

ThrottlingException

The request was denied due to request throttling.

HTTP Status Code: 429
