StartPipelineReprocessing - AWS IoT Analytics


Starts the reprocessing of raw message data through the pipeline.

Request Syntax

POST /pipelines/pipelineName/reprocessing HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "endTime": number, "startTime": number }

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.


The name of the pipeline on which to start reprocessing.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.

Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z0-9_]+$

Required: Yes

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.


The end time (exclusive) of raw message data that is reprocessed.

Type: Timestamp

Required: No


The start time (inclusive) of raw message data that is reprocessed.

Type: Timestamp

Required: No

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 200 Content-type: application/json { "reprocessingId": "string" }

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.


The ID of the pipeline reprocessing activity that was started.

Type: String

A resource with the same name already exists.

A resource with the specified name could not be found.
