Returns existing metadata for an Amplify app.

## URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

 ** [appId](#API_GetMetadata_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="amplifyuibuilder-GetMetadata-request-uri-appId"></a>
The unique ID of the Amplify app.  
Required: Yes

 ** [environmentName](#API_GetMetadata_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="amplifyuibuilder-GetMetadata-request-uri-environmentName"></a>
The name of the backend environment that is part of the Amplify app.  
Required: Yes

The request does not have a request body.
