UntagResource - AWS Marketplace Catalog API


Removes a tag or list of tags from a resource (either an entity or change set).

Request Syntax

POST /UntagResource HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "ResourceArn": "string", "TagKeys": [ "string" ] }

URI Request Parameters

The request does not use any URI parameters.

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.


Required. The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) associated with the resource you want to remove the tag from.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.

Pattern: ^arn:[\w+=/,.@-]+:aws-marketplace:[\w+=/,.@-]*:[0-9]+:[\w+=,.@-]+(/[\w+=,.@-]+)*$

Required: Yes


Required. A list of key names of tags to be removed. Number of strings allowed: 0-256.

Type: Array of strings

Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 200 items.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.

Pattern: ^([\p{L}\p{Z}\p{N}_.:/=+\-@]*)$

Required: Yes

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.
