# AWS Marketplace Vendor Insights FAQ for sellers

**AWS Marketplace Vendor Insights will no longer be available after November 26th, 2026.**  
We're replacing AWS Marketplace Vendor Insights with new compliance validation features, coming soon. As of October 27th, 2026, you can no longer create or update AWS Marketplace Vendor Insights profiles. Your existing profiles stay available to you and your approved buyers until November 26th, 2026. To keep any documents for your records, please download them before November 26th, 2026.

## Can I still update my existing profile?

**No.** As of October 27, 2026, existing profiles are read-only. You can't update them or upload documents. You also can't create a profile for a product that doesn't already have one.

## Can my approved buyers and I still view my profile?
<a name="seller-vi-faq-view-profile"></a>

**Yes.** Until November 26, 2026, you and your approved buyers can view your existing profiles and download their documents. After November 26, 2026, Vendor Insights is no longer available.

## Do I need to deactivate my profile myself?

**No.** AWS Marketplace deactivates your Vendor Insights profile for you after November 26, 2026. To deactivate it sooner, [open a support case](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/management/contact-us/).

## What happens to my profile and documents after November 26, 2026?

Your profiles are no longer visible to anyone. Within 90 days, AWS Marketplace deletes all Vendor Insights data, including uploaded documents and assessments. You can't recover deleted data, so download anything you want to keep before November 26, 2026.

## What happens to the buyer access I've approved?

Approved buyers keep access until November 26, 2026. After that date, all access ends, even if you approved it for a longer term. Tell your approved buyers how to request security and compliance information from you.

## Does this change affect my listing's performance or visibility?

**No.** This change doesn't affect your product listing's performance or visibility. AWS Marketplace removes Vendor Insights references from product pages.

## How do buyers get my security information after November 26, 2026?

Buyers can contact you directly using the contact details on your product listing page.
