Synopsis

Calls the AWS Batch TagResource API operation.

Description

Associates the specified tags to a resource with the specified resourceArn. If existing tags on a resource aren't specified in the request parameters, they aren't changed. When a resource is deleted, the tags that are associated with that resource are deleted as well. Batch resources that support tags are compute environments, jobs, job definitions, job queues, and scheduling policies. ARNs for child jobs of array and multi-node parallel (MNP) jobs aren't supported.

Changes the cmdlet behavior to return the value passed to the ResourceArn parameter. The -PassThru parameter is deprecated, use -Select '^ResourceArn' instead. This parameter will be removed in a future version.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The cmdlet doesn't have a return value by default. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.Batch.Model.TagResourceResponse). Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.
