Calls the AWS CodeArtifact AssociateExternalConnection API operation.

Description

Adds an existing external connection to a repository. One external connection is allowed per repository. A repository can have one or more upstream repositories, or an external connection.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is 'Repository'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.CodeArtifact.Model.AssociateExternalConnectionResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.CodeArtifact.Model.AssociateExternalConnectionResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.

This cmdlet returns an Amazon.CodeArtifact.Model.RepositoryDescription object. The service call response (type Amazon.CodeArtifact.Model.AssociateExternalConnectionResponse) can also be referenced from properties attached to the cmdlet entry in the $AWSHistory stack.
