Synopsis

Calls the AWS CodeArtifact ListPackageVersionDependencies API operation.

Description

Returns the direct dependencies for a package version. The dependencies are returned as PackageDependency objects. CodeArtifact extracts the dependencies for a package version from the metadata file for the package format (for example, the package.json file for npm packages and the pom.xml file for Maven). Any package version dependencies that are not listed in the configuration file are not returned.

The name of the domain that contains the repository that contains the requested package version dependencies.

The 12-digit account number of the Amazon Web Services account that owns the domain. It does not include dashes or spaces.

The namespace of the package. The package component that specifies its namespace depends on its type. For example:
  • The namespace of a Maven package is its groupId.
  • The namespace of an npm package is its scope.
  • A Python package does not contain a corresponding component, so Python packages do not have a namespace.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is '*'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.CodeArtifact.Model.ListPackageVersionDependenciesResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.CodeArtifact.Model.ListPackageVersionDependenciesResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.

If the profile is not found then the cmdlet will search in the ini-format credential file at the default location: (user's home directory)\.aws\credentials.If this parameter is specified then this cmdlet will only search the ini-format credential file at the location given.As the current folder can vary in a shell or during script execution it is advised that you use specify a fully qualified path instead of a relative path.
