Synopsis

Calls the Amazon CloudWatch GetDashboard API operation.

Syntax

Description

Displays the details of the dashboard that you specify. To copy an existing dashboard, use GetDashboard, and then use the data returned within DashboardBody as the template for the new dashboard when you call PutDashboard to create the copy.

The name of the dashboard to be described.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is '*'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.CloudWatch.Model.GetDashboardResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.CloudWatch.Model.GetDashboardResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.

Only specify this parameter if you must direct the call to a specific custom endpoint.
