Synopsis

Calls the Amazon Interactive Video Service ImportPlaybackKeyPair API operation.

Description

Imports the public portion of a new key pair and returns its arn and fingerprint. The privateKey can then be used to generate viewer authorization tokens, to grant viewers access to private channels. For more information, see Setting Up Private Channels in the Amazon IVS User Guide.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is 'KeyPair'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.IVS.Model.ImportPlaybackKeyPairResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.IVS.Model.ImportPlaybackKeyPairResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.
