Synopsis

Calls the AWS Directory Service RegisterCertificate API operation.

Description

Registers a certificate for a secure LDAP or client certificate authentication.

The certificate PEM string that needs to be registered.

Specifies the URL of the default OCSP server used to check for revocation status. A secondary value to any OCSP address found in the AIA extension of the user certificate.

Changes the cmdlet behavior to return the value passed to the CertificateData parameter. The -PassThru parameter is deprecated, use -Select '^CertificateData' instead. This parameter will be removed in a future version.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is 'CertificateId'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.DirectoryService.Model.RegisterCertificateResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.DirectoryService.Model.RegisterCertificateResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.

The function that the registered certificate performs. Valid values include ClientLDAPS or ClientCertAuth. The default value is ClientLDAPS.

This cmdlet returns a System.String object. The service call response (type Amazon.DirectoryService.Model.RegisterCertificateResponse) can also be referenced from properties attached to the cmdlet entry in the $AWSHistory stack.
