Synopsis

Calls the Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes DeleteNodegroup API operation.

Description

Deletes a managed node group.

Changes the cmdlet behavior to return the value passed to the NodegroupName parameter. The -PassThru parameter is deprecated, use -Select '^NodegroupName' instead. This parameter will be removed in a future version.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is 'Nodegroup'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.EKS.Model.DeleteNodegroupResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.EKS.Model.DeleteNodegroupResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.

This cmdlet returns an Amazon.EKS.Model.Nodegroup object. The service call response (type Amazon.EKS.Model.DeleteNodegroupResponse) can be returned by specifying '-Select *'.
