Synopsis

Calls the Amazon CloudWatch StopMetricStreams API operation.

Description

Stops the streaming of metrics for one or more of your metric streams.

The array of the names of metric streams to stop streaming.This is an "all or nothing" operation. If you do not have permission to access all of the metric streams that you list here, then none of the streams that you list in the operation will stop streaming.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The cmdlet doesn't have a return value by default. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.CloudWatch.Model.StopMetricStreamsResponse). Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.
