Synopsis

Calls the Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) UpdateMonitoring API operation.

Description

Updates the monitoring settings for the cluster. You can use this operation to specify which Apache Kafka metrics you want Amazon MSK to send to Amazon CloudWatch. You can also specify settings for open monitoring with Prometheus.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is '*'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.Kafka.Model.UpdateMonitoringResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.Kafka.Model.UpdateMonitoringResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.
