Description

Updates a workgroup with the specified configuration settings. You can't update multiple parameters in one request. For example, you can update baseCapacity or port in a single request, but you can't update both in the same request. VPC Block Public Access (BPA) enables you to block resources in VPCs and subnets that you own in a Region from reaching or being reached from the internet through internet gateways and egress-only internet gateways. If a workgroup is in an account with VPC BPA turned on, the following capabilities are blocked:
  • Creating a public access workgroup
  • Modifying a private workgroup to public
  • Adding a subnet with VPC BPA turned on to the workgroup when the workgroup is public
For more information about VPC BPA, see Block public access to VPCs and subnets in the Amazon VPC User Guide.

Parameters

An array of parameters to set for advanced control over a database. The options are auto_mv, datestyle, enable_case_sensitive_identifier, enable_user_activity_logging, query_group, search_path, require_ssl, use_fips_ssl, and query monitoring metrics that let you define performance boundaries. For more information about query monitoring rules and available metrics, see Query monitoring metrics for Amazon Redshift Serverless.

-EnhancedVpcRouting <Boolean>
The value that specifies whether to turn on enhanced virtual private cloud (VPC) routing, which forces Amazon Redshift Serverless to route traffic through your VPC.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
This parameter overrides confirmation prompts to force the cmdlet to continue its operation. This parameter should always be used with caution.
Required?False
Position?Named

-IpAddressType <String>
The IP address type that the workgroup supports. Possible values are ipv4 and dualstack.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-MaxCapacity <Int32>
The maximum data-warehouse capacity Amazon Redshift Serverless uses to serve queries. The max capacity is specified in RPUs.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-PassThru <SwitchParameter>
Changes the cmdlet behavior to return the value passed to the WorkgroupName parameter. The -PassThru parameter is deprecated, use -Select '^WorkgroupName' instead. This parameter will be removed in a future version.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-Port <Int32>
The custom port to use when connecting to a workgroup. Valid port ranges are 5431-5455 and 8191-8215. The default is 5439.

Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-PricePerformanceTarget_Level <Int32>
The target price performance level for the workgroup. Valid values include 1, 25, 50, 75, and 100. These correspond to the price performance levels LOW_COST, ECONOMICAL, BALANCED, RESOURCEFUL, and HIGH_PERFORMANCE.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-PricePerformanceTarget_Status <PerformanceTargetStatus>
Whether the price performance target is enabled for the workgroup.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-PubliclyAccessible <Boolean>
A value that specifies whether the workgroup can be accessible from a public network.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-SecurityGroupId <String[]>
An array of security group IDs to associate with the workgroup.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
AliasesSecurityGroupIds
-Select <String>
Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is 'Workgroup'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.RedshiftServerless.Model.UpdateWorkgroupResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.RedshiftServerless.Model.UpdateWorkgroupResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-SubnetId <String[]>
An array of VPC subnet IDs to associate with the workgroup.
Required?False
Position?Named

Common Credential and Region Parameters

-AccessKey <String>
The AWS access key for the user account. This can be a temporary access key if the corresponding session token is supplied to the -SessionToken parameter.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
AliasesAK
-Credential <AWSCredentials>
An AWSCredentials object instance containing access and secret key information, and optionally a token for session-based credentials.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByValue, ByPropertyName)
-EndpointUrl <String>
The endpoint to make the call against.Note: This parameter is primarily for internal AWS use and is not required/should not be specified for normal usage. The cmdlets normally determine which endpoint to call based on the region specified to the -Region parameter or set as default in the shell (via Set-DefaultAWSRegion). Only specify this parameter if you must direct the call to a specific custom endpoint.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-NetworkCredential <PSCredential>
Used with SAML-based authentication when ProfileName references a SAML role profile. Contains the network credentials to be supplied during authentication with the configured identity provider's endpoint. This parameter is not required if the user's default network identity can or should be used during authentication.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByValue, ByPropertyName)
-ProfileLocation <String>
Used to specify the name and location of the ini-format credential file (shared with the AWS CLI and other AWS SDKs)If this optional parameter is omitted this cmdlet will search the encrypted credential file used by the AWS SDK for .NET and AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio first. If the profile is not found then the cmdlet will search in the ini-format credential file at the default location: (user's home directory)\.aws\credentials.If this parameter is specified then this cmdlet will only search the ini-format credential file at the location given. As the current folder can vary in a shell or during script execution it is advised that you use specify a fully qualified path instead of a relative path.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)

-ProfileName <String>
The user-defined name of an AWS credentials or SAML-based role profile containing credential information. The profile is expected to be found in the secure credential file shared with the AWS SDK for .NET and AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio. Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
AliasesRegionToCall
-SecretKey <String>
The AWS secret key for the user account. This can be a temporary secret key if the corresponding session token is supplied to the -SessionToken parameter.
