Calls the Amazon Elastic MapReduce PutAutoScalingPolicy API operation.

Description

Creates or updates an automatic scaling policy for a core instance group or task instance group in an Amazon EMR cluster. The automatic scaling policy defines how an instance group dynamically adds and terminates Amazon EC2 instances in response to the value of a CloudWatch metric.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is '*'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.ElasticMapReduce.Model.PutAutoScalingPolicyResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.ElasticMapReduce.Model.PutAutoScalingPolicyResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.
