Synopsis

Calls the AWS Elastic Beanstalk ListPlatformVersions API operation.

Description

Lists the platform versions available for your account in an Amazon Web Services Region. Provides summary information about each platform version. Compare to DescribePlatformVersion, which provides full details about a single platform version. This action only returns information about platform versions that the calling principle has IAM permissions to access. For example, consider a case where a user only has permission to access one of ten platform versions. When the user calls the ListPlatformVersions action, the response will only include the one platform version that the user has permission to access instead of all ten platform versions. If the user doesn’t have access to any of the platform versions an empty result is returned. The AWSElasticBeanstalkReadOnly managed policy allows operators to view information about resources related to Elastic Beanstalk environments. This cmdlet automatically pages all available results to the pipeline - parameters related to iteration are only needed if you want to manually control the paginated output. To disable autopagination, use -NoAutoIteration.

-Filter <PlatformFilter[]>
Criteria for restricting the resulting list of platform versions. The filter is interpreted as a logical conjunction (AND) of the separate PlatformFilter terms. Starting with version 4 of the SDK this property will default to null. If no data for this property is returned from the service the property will also be null. This was changed to improve performance and allow the SDK and caller to distinguish between a property not set or a property being empty to clear out a value. To retain the previous SDK behavior set the AWSConfigs.InitializeCollections static property to true.

-MaxRecord <Int32>
The maximum number of platform version values returned in one call.
Note: In AWSPowerShell and AWSPowerShell.NetCore this parameter is used to limit the total number of items returned by the cmdlet.
In AWS.Tools this parameter is simply passed to the service to specify how many items should be returned by each service call.
Pipe the output of this cmdlet into Select-Object -First to terminate retrieving data pages early and control the number of items returned.If a value for this parameter is not specified the cmdlet will use a default value of '1000'.

-NextToken <String>
For a paginated request. Specify a token from a previous response page to retrieve the next response page. All other parameter values must be identical to the ones specified in the initial request.If no NextToken is specified, the first page is retrieved.
Note: This parameter is only used if you are manually controlling output pagination of the service API call.
'NextToken' is only returned by the cmdlet when '-Select *' is specified. In order to manually control output pagination, set '-NextToken' to null for the first call then set the 'NextToken' using the same property output from the previous call for subsequent calls.

-NoAutoIteration <SwitchParameter>
By default the cmdlet will auto-iterate and retrieve all results to the pipeline by performing multiple service calls. If set, the cmdlet will retrieve only the next 'page' of results using the value of NextToken as the start point.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is 'PlatformSummaryList'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.ElasticBeanstalk.Model.ListPlatformVersionsResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.ElasticBeanstalk.Model.ListPlatformVersionsResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.

This cmdlet returns a collection of Amazon.ElasticBeanstalk.Model.PlatformSummary objects. The service call response (type Amazon.ElasticBeanstalk.Model.ListPlatformVersionsResponse) can be returned by specifying '-Select *'.
