Schedule evaluations

Instead of running rules manually, you can schedule them to run automatically.

To schedule a ruleset evaluation

1. Choose the Actions menu on your ruleset and select Schedule run.

2. Configure the schedule.

   

   Setting	Description
   Schedule name	Auto-generated based on the ruleset name and the catalog database table.
   Schedule type	Recurring or One time.
   Frequency (rate-based)	Simple interval expressions (for example, every 5 minutes, every 3 hours).
   Frequency (cron expression)	Fine-grained scheduling using cron syntax.
   Start date	Optional. When the schedule becomes active.
   End date	Optional. When the schedule stops.

3. Choose Create schedule.

When scheduled runs execute, results appear automatically in the run history and update the dashboard.
