Overview

This module provides a client for making API requests to AWS Outposts.

Aws::Outposts::Client

The Client class provides one-to-one mapping for each API operation.

outposts = Aws::Outposts::Client.new(region: 'us-east-1')
outposts.operation_names
#=> [:create_outpost, :delete_outpost, :delete_site, :get_outpost, ...]

Each API operation method accepts a hash of request parameters and returns a response object.

resp = outposts.create_outpost(params)

Aws::Outposts::Errors

Errors returned from AWS Outposts are defined in the Errors module and extend Errors::ServiceError.

  # do stuff
rescue Aws::Outposts::Errors::ServiceError
  # rescues all errors returned by AWS Outposts
end
