Overview

This module provides a client for making API requests to AWS Service Catalog.

Aws::ServiceCatalog::Client

The Client class provides one-to-one mapping for each API operation.

servicecatalog = Aws::ServiceCatalog::Client.new(region: 'us-east-1')
servicecatalog.operation_names
#=> [:accept_portfolio_share, :associate_budget_with_resource, :associate_principal_with_portfolio, :associate_product_with_portfolio, ...]

Each API operation method accepts a hash of request parameters and returns a response object.

resp = servicecatalog.accept_portfolio_share(params)

Aws::ServiceCatalog::Errors

Errors returned from AWS Service Catalog are defined in the Errors module and extend Errors::ServiceError.

begin
  # do stuff
rescue Aws::ServiceCatalog::Errors::ServiceError
  # rescues all errors returned by AWS Service Catalog
end
