Overview

This module provides a client for making API requests to Amazon Textract.

Aws::Textract::Client

The Client class provides one-to-one mapping for each API operation.

textract = Aws::Textract::Client.new(region: 'us-east-1')
textract.operation_names
#=> [:analyze_document, :detect_document_text, :get_document_analysis, :get_document_text_detection, ...]

Each API operation method accepts a hash of request parameters and returns a response object.

resp = textract.analyze_document(params)

Aws::Textract::Errors

Errors returned from Amazon Textract are defined in the Errors module and extend Errors::ServiceError.

  # do stuff
rescue Aws::Textract::Errors::ServiceError
  # rescues all errors returned by Amazon Textract
end
