/AWS1/CL_GLUTAGSMAP_W¶

/AWS1/CL_GLUTAGSMAP_W is a "wrapper" for scalar type /AWS1/GLUTAGVALUE. This wrapper enables the concept of "value is not set", similar to an Optional<> wrapper in Java. Wrappers are necessary because ABAP strings and other primitives are not nullable. In AWS protocols it is possible for a field to be omitted entirely from a JSON or XML payload, and this needs to be distinguishable from, for example, an "empty string".
