Deletes the specified instance profile. The instance profile must not have an associated role. Make sure you do not have any Amazon EC2 instances running with the instance profile you are about to delete. Deleting a role or instance profile that is associated with a running instance will break any applications running on the instance.

Parameters

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteInstanceProfile service method.

The response from the DeleteInstanceProfile service method, as returned by IdentityManagementService.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
DeleteConflictException The request was rejected because it attempted to delete a resource that has attached subordinate entities. The error message describes these entities.
LimitExceededException The request was rejected because it attempted to create resources beyond the current AWS account limits. The error message describes the limit exceeded.
NoSuchEntityException The request was rejected because it referenced an entity that does not exist. The error message describes the entity.
ServiceFailureException The request processing has failed because of an unknown error, exception or failure.
