Deletes the SSM document and all instance associations to the document.

Before you delete the SSM document, we recommend that you use DeleteAssociation to disassociate all instances that are associated with the document.

Parameters

Type: Amazon.SimpleSystemsManagement.Model.DeleteDocumentRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteDocument service method.

The response from the DeleteDocument service method, as returned by SimpleSystemsManagement.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AssociatedInstancesException You must disassociate an SSM document from all instances before you can delete it.
InternalServerErrorException An error occurred on the server side.
InvalidDocumentException The specified document does not exist.
