Creates an archive rule for the specified analyzer. Archive rules automatically archive new findings that meet the criteria you define when you create the rule.

To learn about filter keys that you can use to create an archive rule, see IAM Access Analyzer filter keys in the IAM User Guide.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginCreateArchiveRule and EndCreateArchiveRule.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.AccessAnalyzer.Model.CreateArchiveRuleRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the CreateArchiveRule service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the CreateArchiveRule service method, as returned by AccessAnalyzer.

InternalServerException Internal server error.
ResourceNotFoundException The specified resource could not be found.
