Describes the current Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling resource quotas for your account.

When you establish an Amazon Web Services account, the account has initial quotas on the maximum number of Auto Scaling groups and launch configurations that you can create in a given Region. For more information, see Quotas for Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling in the Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling User Guide.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginDescribeAccountLimits and EndDescribeAccountLimits.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.AutoScaling.Model.DescribeAccountLimitsRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DescribeAccountLimits service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the DescribeAccountLimits service method, as returned by AutoScaling.

ResourceContentionException You already have a pending update to an Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling resource (for example, an Auto Scaling group, instance, or load balancer).
