Deletes a Service environment. Before you can delete a service environment, you must first set its state to DISABLED with the UpdateServiceEnvironment API operation and disassociate it from any job queues with the UpdateJobQueue API operation.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginDeleteServiceEnvironment and EndDeleteServiceEnvironment.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.Batch.Model.DeleteServiceEnvironmentRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteServiceEnvironment service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the DeleteServiceEnvironment service method, as returned by Batch.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
ClientException These errors are usually caused by a client action. One example cause is using an action or resource on behalf of a user that doesn't have permissions to use the action or resource. Another cause is specifying an identifier that's not valid.
ServerException These errors are usually caused by a server issue.
