Deletes an AWS Batch compute environment.

Before you can delete a compute environment, you must set its state to DISABLED with the UpdateComputeEnvironment API operation and disassociate it from any job queues with the UpdateJobQueue API operation.


For .NET Core and PCL this operation is only available in asynchronous form. Please refer to DeleteComputeEnvironmentAsync.

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteComputeEnvironment service method.

Return Value
The response from the DeleteComputeEnvironment service method, as returned by Batch.


ClientException These errors are usually caused by a client action, such as using an action or resource on behalf of a user that doesn't have permissions to use the action or resource, or specifying an identifier that is not valid.
ServerException These errors are usually caused by a server issue.


This example deletes the P2OnDemand compute environment.

To delete a compute environment

var response = client.DeleteComputeEnvironment(new DeleteComputeEnvironmentRequest 
    ComputeEnvironment = "P2OnDemand"
