Uploads a public key to CloudFront that you can use with signed URLs and signed cookies, or with field-level encryption.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginCreatePublicKey and EndCreatePublicKey.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.CloudFront.Model.CreatePublicKeyRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the CreatePublicKey service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the CreatePublicKey service method, as returned by CloudFront.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
InvalidArgumentException An argument is invalid.
PublicKeyAlreadyExistsException The specified public key already exists.
TooManyPublicKeysException The maximum number of public keys for field-level encryption have been created. To create a new public key, delete one of the existing keys.
