Delete a distribution.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginDeleteDistribution and EndDeleteDistribution.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.CloudFront.Model.DeleteDistributionRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteDistribution service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the DeleteDistribution service method, as returned by CloudFront.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AccessDeniedException Access denied.
DistributionNotDisabledException The specified CloudFront distribution is not disabled. You must disable the distribution before you can delete it.
InvalidIfMatchVersionException The If-Match version is missing or not valid.
NoSuchDistributionException The specified distribution does not exist.
PreconditionFailedException The precondition in one or more of the request fields evaluated to false.
