Use this operation to update the configuration of a delivery to change either the S3 path pattern or the format of the delivered logs. You can't use this operation to change the source or destination of the delivery.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginUpdateDeliveryConfiguration and EndUpdateDeliveryConfiguration.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.CloudWatchLogs.Model.UpdateDeliveryConfigurationRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the UpdateDeliveryConfiguration service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the UpdateDeliveryConfiguration service method, as returned by CloudWatchLogs.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AccessDeniedException You don't have sufficient permissions to perform this action.
ConflictException This operation attempted to create a resource that already exists.
ResourceNotFoundException The specified resource does not exist.
ServiceUnavailableException The service cannot complete the request.
ThrottlingException The request was throttled because of quota limits.
ValidationException One of the parameters for the request is not valid.
