Adds tags to on-premises instances.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginAddTagsToOnPremisesInstances and EndAddTagsToOnPremisesInstances.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.CodeDeploy.Model.AddTagsToOnPremisesInstancesRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the AddTagsToOnPremisesInstances service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the AddTagsToOnPremisesInstances service method, as returned by CodeDeploy.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
InstanceLimitExceededException The maximum number of allowed on-premises instances in a single call was exceeded.
InstanceNameRequiredException An on-premises instance name was not specified.
InstanceNotRegisteredException The specified on-premises instance is not registered.
InvalidInstanceNameException The on-premises instance name was specified in an invalid format.
InvalidTagException The tag was specified in an invalid format.
TagLimitExceededException The maximum allowed number of tags was exceeded.
TagRequiredException A tag was not specified.
