Permanently deletes the specified Elasticsearch domain and all of its data. Once a domain is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginDeleteElasticsearchDomain and EndDeleteElasticsearchDomain.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.Elasticsearch.Model.DeleteElasticsearchDomainRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteElasticsearchDomain service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the DeleteElasticsearchDomain service method, as returned by Elasticsearch.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
BaseException An error occurred while processing the request.
InternalException The request processing has failed because of an unknown error, exception or failure (the failure is internal to the service) . Gives http status code of 500.
ResourceNotFoundException An exception for accessing or deleting a resource that does not exist. Gives http status code of 400.
ValidationException An exception for missing / invalid input fields. Gives http status code of 400.
