Registers a CA certificate with Amazon Web Services IoT Core. There is no limit to the number of CA certificates you can register in your Amazon Web Services account. You can register up to 10 CA certificates with the same CA subject field per Amazon Web Services account.

Requires permission to access the RegisterCACertificate action.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginRegisterCACertificate and EndRegisterCACertificate.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.IoT.Model.RegisterCACertificateRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the RegisterCACertificate service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the RegisterCACertificate service method, as returned by IoT.

Exceptions

CertificateValidationException The certificate is invalid.
InternalFailureException An unexpected error has occurred.
InvalidRequestException The request is not valid.
LimitExceededException A limit has been exceeded.
RegistrationCodeValidationException The registration code is invalid.

ResourceNotFoundException The specified resource does not exist.
ServiceUnavailableException The service is temporarily unavailable.
ThrottlingException The rate exceeds the limit.
UnauthorizedException You are not authorized to perform this operation.
