The UpdateExpirationForHIT operation allows you update the expiration time of a HIT. If you update it to a time in the past, the HIT will be immediately expired.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginUpdateExpirationForHIT and EndUpdateExpirationForHIT.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.MTurk.Model.UpdateExpirationForHITRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the UpdateExpirationForHIT service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the UpdateExpirationForHIT service method, as returned by MTurk.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
RequestErrorException Your request is invalid.
ServiceException Amazon Mechanical Turk is temporarily unable to process your request. Try your call again.
