Creates an access policy for the specified container to restrict the users and clients that can access it. For information about the data that is included in an access policy, see the AWS Identity and Access Management User Guide.

For this release of the REST API, you can create only one policy for a container. If you enter PutContainerPolicy twice, the second command modifies the existing policy.

Note:

For .NET Core and PCL this operation is only available in asynchronous form. Please refer to PutContainerPolicyAsync.

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the PutContainerPolicy service method.

Return Value
The response from the PutContainerPolicy service method, as returned by MediaStore.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
ContainerInUseException Resource already exists or is being updated.
ContainerNotFoundException Could not perform an operation on a container that does not exist.
InternalServerErrorException The service is temporarily unavailable.
