Creates a new custom endpoint and associates it with an Amazon Neptune DB cluster.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginCreateDBClusterEndpoint and EndCreateDBClusterEndpoint.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.Neptune.Model.CreateDBClusterEndpointRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the CreateDBClusterEndpoint service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the CreateDBClusterEndpoint service method, as returned by Neptune.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
DBClusterEndpointAlreadyExistsException The specified custom endpoint cannot be created because it already exists.
DBClusterEndpointQuotaExceededException The cluster already has the maximum number of custom endpoints.
DBClusterNotFoundException DBClusterIdentifier does not refer to an existing DB cluster.
DBInstanceNotFoundException DBInstanceIdentifier does not refer to an existing DB instance.
InvalidDBClusterStateException The DB cluster is not in a valid state.
InvalidDBInstanceStateException The specified DB instance is not in the available state.
