You might need to reboot your DB shard group, usually for maintenance reasons. For example, if you make certain modifications, reboot the DB shard group for the changes to take effect.

This operation applies only to Aurora Limitless Database DBb shard groups.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginRebootDBShardGroup and EndRebootDBShardGroup.

Parameters

Type: Amazon.RDS.Model.RebootDBShardGroupRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the RebootDBShardGroup service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the RebootDBShardGroup service method, as returned by RDS.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
DBShardGroupNotFoundException The specified DB shard group name wasn't found.
InvalidDBShardGroupStateException The DB shard group must be in the available state.
