Generate a token for IAM authentication to an RDS database.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginGenerateAuthToken and EndGenerateAuthToken.

Parameters

credentials
Type: Amazon.Runtime.AWSCredentials

The credentials for the token.

region
Type: Amazon.RegionEndpoint

The region of the RDS database.

hostname

Hostname of the RDS database.

port
Type: System.Int32

Port of the RDS database.

dbUser
Type: System.String

Database user for the token.
