Container for the parameters to the CreateClusterSecurityGroup operation. Creates a new Amazon Redshift security group. You use security groups to control access to non-VPC clusters.

The CreateClusterSecurityGroupRequest type exposes the following members



Public Property ClusterSecurityGroupName System.String

Gets and sets the property ClusterSecurityGroupName.

The name for the security group. Amazon Redshift stores the value as a lowercase string.


  • Must contain no more than 255 alphanumeric characters or hyphens.

  • Must not be "Default".

  • Must be unique for all security groups that are created by your AWS account.

Public Property Description System.String

Gets and sets the property Description.

A description for the security group.

Public Property Tags System.Collections.Generic.List<Amazon.Redshift.Model.Tag>

Gets and sets the property Tags.

A list of tag instances.


This example creates a new cluster security group.

To create a new cluster security group
