Use this request to opt in a phone number that is opted out, which enables you to resume sending SMS messages to the number.

You can opt in a phone number only once every 30 days.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginOptInPhoneNumber and EndOptInPhoneNumber.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.SimpleNotificationService.Model.OptInPhoneNumberRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the OptInPhoneNumber service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the OptInPhoneNumber service method, as returned by SimpleNotificationService.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AuthorizationErrorException Indicates that the user has been denied access to the requested resource.
InternalErrorException Indicates an internal service error.
InvalidParameterException Indicates that a request parameter does not comply with the associated constraints.
ThrottledException Indicates that the rate at which requests have been submitted for this action exceeds the limit for your Amazon Web Services account.
