Creates a Systems Manager document.

After you create a document, you can use CreateAssociation to associate it with one or more running instances.


This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginCreateDocument and EndCreateDocument.

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value
The response from the CreateDocument service method, as returned by SimpleSystemsManagement.


DocumentAlreadyExistsException The specified document already exists.
DocumentLimitExceededException You can have at most 200 active Systems Manager documents.
InternalServerErrorException An error occurred on the server side.
InvalidDocumentContentException The content for the document is not valid.
InvalidDocumentSchemaVersionException The version of the document schema is not supported.
MaxDocumentSizeExceededException The size limit of a document is 64 KB.
