Creates a preview of the MIME content of an email when provided with a template and a set of replacement data.

You can execute this operation no more than once per second.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginTestRenderTemplate and EndTestRenderTemplate.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.SimpleEmail.Model.TestRenderTemplateRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the TestRenderTemplate service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the TestRenderTemplate service method, as returned by SimpleEmailService.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
InvalidRenderingParameterException Indicates that one or more of the replacement values you provided is invalid. This error may occur when the TemplateData object contains invalid JSON.
MissingRenderingAttributeException Indicates that one or more of the replacement values for the specified template was not specified. Ensure that the TemplateData object contains references to all of the replacement tags in the specified template.
TemplateDoesNotExistException Indicates that the Template object you specified does not exist in your Amazon SES account.
