Adds an email address to the list of identities for your Amazon SES account in the current Amazon Web Services Region and attempts to verify it. As a result of executing this operation, a verification email is sent to the specified address.

You can execute this operation no more than once per second.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginVerifyEmailIdentity and EndVerifyEmailIdentity.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.SimpleEmail.Model.VerifyEmailIdentityRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the VerifyEmailIdentity service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the VerifyEmailIdentity service method, as returned by SimpleEmailService.
