Creates a configuration set.

Configuration sets enable you to publish email sending events. For information about using configuration sets, see the Amazon SES Developer Guide.

You can execute this operation no more than once per second.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginCreateConfigurationSet and EndCreateConfigurationSet.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.SimpleEmail.Model.CreateConfigurationSetRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the CreateConfigurationSet service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the CreateConfigurationSet service method, as returned by SimpleEmailService.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
ConfigurationSetAlreadyExistsException Indicates that the configuration set could not be created because of a naming conflict.
InvalidConfigurationSetException Indicates that the configuration set is invalid. See the error message for details.
LimitExceededException Indicates that a resource could not be created because of service limits. For a list of Amazon SES limits, see the Amazon SES Developer Guide.
