Adds one or more rules to the specified IP access control group.

This action gives users permission to access their WorkSpaces from the CIDR address ranges specified in the rules.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginAuthorizeIpRules and EndAuthorizeIpRules.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.WorkSpaces.Model.AuthorizeIpRulesRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the AuthorizeIpRules service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the AuthorizeIpRules service method, as returned by WorkSpaces.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AccessDeniedException The user is not authorized to access a resource.
InvalidParameterValuesException One or more parameter values are not valid.
InvalidResourceStateException The state of the resource is not valid for this operation.
ResourceLimitExceededException Your resource limits have been exceeded.
ResourceNotFoundException The resource could not be found.
