Rebuilds the specified WorkSpace.

You cannot rebuild a WorkSpace unless its state is AVAILABLE, ERROR, UNHEALTHY, STOPPED, or REBOOTING.

Rebuilding a WorkSpace is a potentially destructive action that can result in the loss of data. For more information, see Rebuild a WorkSpace.

This operation is asynchronous and returns before the WorkSpaces have been completely rebuilt.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginRebuildWorkspaces and EndRebuildWorkspaces.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.WorkSpaces.Model.RebuildWorkspacesRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the RebuildWorkspaces service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the RebuildWorkspaces service method, as returned by WorkSpaces.
