Module: Aws::Athena

Defined in:
(unknown)

Overview

This module provides a client for making API requests to Amazon Athena.

Aws::Athena::Client

The Client class provides one-to-one mapping for each API operation.

athena = Aws::Athena::Client.new(region: 'us-east-1')
athena.operation_names
#=> [:batch_get_named_query, :batch_get_query_execution, :create_data_catalog, :create_named_query, ...]

Each API operation method accepts a hash of request parameters and returns a response object.

resp = athena.batch_get_named_query(params)

See Client for more information.

Aws::Athena::Errors

Errors returned from Amazon Athena are defined in the Errors module and extend Errors::ServiceError.

begin
  # do stuff
rescue Aws::Athena::Errors::ServiceError
  # rescues all errors returned by Amazon Athena
end

See Errors for more information.
